UK SEO Spend Set For An Increase

The importance of internet marketing techniques to companies has been emphasised by recent research that suggests that UK businesses plan to up their investment in paid search and SEO over the next year.

The research conducted by Econsultancy in association with digital agency Guava, states that the proportion of companies planning to increase their spending on search engine optimisation over the coming year is up 5% on last year, resulting in a total of 60%. The results are part of the UK Search Engine Marketing Benchmark Report, the largest annual UK survey of search marketers, which is seen as the yardstick in annual analysis of the search industry.
